Dehydrated Oranges in Gift Box

Dried oranges are perfect for your "cocktails", for your cake recipes, for tea or they are delicious dipped in chocolate. They are rich in vitamin C, fiber, calcium and magnesium. The oranges come from the United States or South Africa depending on availability.

The orange tree is native to Southeast Asia, home of the Citrus genus, but it is not known exactly when it was domesticated. According to a text dating back to 2,200 years BCE, it was already known in China at that time. Like many other plants that were also used in medicine, it followed the Silk Road to Europe, crossing the Middle East and the Near East where it found a climate suited to its needs.
